Currently being fostered in NJ: Mia is a 1-2 yr old girl who came to use because her family said they could no longer care for her. Poor Mia was broken down and scared when we first pulled her from the shelter.
Mia is doing great in her foster home. She lives with several other mastiffs and gets along great with them. Mia, however, does NOT like to be crated. She did break out of her crate on multiple occasions. You will see in the picture below that she bummed up her muzzle a bit, during one of these break outs. But, her foster family integrated her with their pack of mastiffs and now Mia stays out in the house loose with her foster siblings and does great.
Mia must be placed in a home with other dogs, as she needs the companionship. We don't have any information on her living with young kids. However, her foster parents had multiple kids and family members over for the Holidays and Mia mingled with everyone and loved all the company!
Mia is a beautiful, solid blue Corso. She has natural ears and a docked tail. If you are interested in Mia, please fill out an application. For more information on Mia, please contact liz@canecorsorescue.org.
