Update 9.18.11: Lonesome Larry now goes by the call name of Baron! Baron's foster Mommy reports, "I want to start by saying I absolutely adore this boy! He is every bit of a Corso puppy, playful, loving, and energetic and the most amusing klutz. He has 2 speeds warp 9 and slug. He has crashed into everything and proven his athleticism by jumping over many obstacles. Baron is everything I want in my 'dream/ perfect' dog."

However, Baron is in need of some manners and obedience training! In my observation/ opinion, this is a corso that grew up spoiled and was never taught how to behave like a proper dog as a puppy then he grew up.These are all things that I feel will resolve in a few weeks of consistent training. He walks wonderfully on a leash, beautifully crate trained and has not had a single accident in the house. He had a bath yesterday (aloe vera & ginseng), he was the perfect boy and he no longer smells like a shelter!"

Update 9.14.11: Lonesome Larry is in his foster home and doing extremely well. His foster mommy cannot stop laughing at this antics. Larry loves to play, run in circles, leap through the yard, an anything else to celebrate his freedom. :-)
Update 8.22.11: Lonesome Larry has found a wonderful foster home in TN, can you help him get there?
Lonesome Larry is a wonderful young, male Corso who is about 1.5 years old. Poor boy was found wandering the streets of NYC alone and scared. CCR pulled him off the euthanasia list and had to board him in order to save his life. Lonesome Larry is loved by everyone at the facility but we really need to find him a home. Larry weighs about 80 pounds. Please consider fostering or adopting Larry so he is no longer lonesome; he deserves life beyond a cage.
Lonesome Larry's adoption donation is $350.
