Update 9.18.11: Cheyenne found a temporary foster home but they can only keep her for a few days because foster mom is having a baby any day! This is a very busy time for them but they just couldn't bare to let Cheyenne prematurely meet her maker. Please apply to foster or adopt Cheyenne. She is an absolute sweetheart and deserves a loving family of her own.
VERY URGENT - CHEYENNE IS IN A HIGH KILL SHELTER THAT IS FULL AND WILL CERTAINLY BE EUTHANIZED IF WE CANNOT FIND A PLACE FOR HER TO GO TODAY! EVEN AN OVERNIGHT OR A FEW DAYS WILL KEEP HER ALIVE. PLEASE!!!!

Cheyenne is a gorgeous fawn, female Cane Corso who between 2 to 4 years of age. Poor Cheyenne was found dumped in a park after being bred- we don't know where her puppies are, but Cheyenne really needs to find a loving person to help her get back to her pre-pregnancy body! Cheyenne is really sweet. She was scared when she first came into the shelter, but in just a few short hours blossomed into a wiggly, happy girl who greets you sweetly at the front of the kennel. She is strong on a leash and could use some manners, but is well tempered and good with handling. She seems relaxed and fine around other dogs. 
How old is Cheyenne and what state is she located?

ReplyDeleteYes, all our dogs are altered before they go home. Depending on the location, we can set up a transport to get her home.
ReplyDeleteCheyenne is currently safe in foster care in NJ. She is an AMAZING dog. So very sweet, funny, loving and smart!. She is making progress walking on a leash, she can sit, lay down and shake hands on command. She is working on wait. Cheyenne does not show dog aggression but is overly excited and lacks doggie manners, she is working on this as well and is making progress. Cheyenne is 100% potty trained and is not destructive. She is very inquisitive and is learning how to play. Cheyenne is a wonderful family dog!
