Lucky Leo (aka Loyal Larry) -NJ-Adult, Male - ADOPTED!

This handsome boy is a dream come true. Lucky Leo is a go anywhere, go everywhere kind of guy. He loves people of all ages, shapes and sizes and playing with other dogs too. Leo is excellent in the car, in his crate, in the house, at the animal hospital, going for walks - he's just an all around great guy who was abandoned at a boarding facility. Anyone who would leave this sweetie behind has to be just plain loco or in extreme dire straits. We call him Lucky Leo, but it will be this boy's adoptive family that are the lucky ones.

7/31/11: Loyal Larry has now got a new name and a loving home...he is Lucky Leo. He will be residing with 2 other Corsos. He is in route now. We will have more information posted in the near future.

2 YEAR OLD (this ended up not being an accurate age for him), MALE, PHOTO AND MORE INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED SOON.

I promise to be your loyal BFF.

Please come get me!
He gets along with other dogs but has not been evaluated with cats. Kennel will take him to a kill shelter if we cannot take him...we cannot take him without a foster home for him to go to.

  2. Long Island, NY 2 Bonded Cane Corso's at Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter Were Surrendered* Very Upset and Frightened! - owner lost home.
They are owner surrenders who came in about a month ago, their owner lost his job and subsequently his home. The owner had tried to place them through Craigslist but the response he got left him scared for his canine companions and refused to give the dogs to the people that wanted them.
Unfortunately, these 2 are not doing well in the shelter and are starting to breakdown. Their evaluations are attached and they did decently considering having just lost their dad and home of 4 and 5 years. Once out of the shelter they MIGHT be able to be split up but for now they would surely crash if separated. Please consider giving these 2 their forever home or at least the opportunity to find their forever home through rescue.
If you have any questions contact PGugliotta@tohmail.org or 631.813.6887. They will be up to date on all vaccinations and neutered upon leaving Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter. Please cross post these beauties and help us get them out of the shelter!
    Both Boys’ Evaluations are attached.
