Yes, she is absolutely more beautiful than her pictures! Meet stunning Skye. Skye is a blue brindle Corso (3-4 years old) and she wants to be everywhere you are. Skye and her son, Moe (already adopted) were found as strays in Baton Rouge, La. Rescue quickly had them pulled and transported into foster care, where they very quickly gained weight, and learned to trust humans again.

Skye must absolutely have a confident leader. If she detects the smallest amount of hesitation, lack of confidence, or fear in a human, she will take full advantage of it. However, once she trusts and bonds with her humans, her tail never stops wagging and she is always up for a walk, car ride, or some good o' lovin'. Skye is such a love with the people she knows, however she does demonstrate over- protective qualities in her home and in the car. Skye enjoys going for car rides with her foster Corso brothers/sisters, but she definitely wants to make sure people know she is protecting her family! Skye is active and enjoys long walks, runs, or basking in the sun by the pool. She loves playing with other dogs and would do great in a home with another male dog.

I don't even need a couch!

Skye MUST have an owner who has experience with the protective qualities of a guardian breed. She will never be a dog that you can have out freely in the house when strangers come over, nor is she a dog that will be able to socialize with strangers out in public. She is a loyal guardian. Skye will not be placed in a home with children under 14yrs of age due to unknown history with kids, as well as due to her protective qualities. Are you the perfect match for this stunning girl?
