Update 5.4.11: This is Marvelous Mugsy Magoo...one month later...amazing what proper nutrition, exercise, and a little love can do. Mugsy is a fine specimen of the meaning of rescue. This boy was slated to die. Today, he sits in a boarding kennel very much alive and looking more handsome than ever. Mugsy thanks each and everyone of you who helped us save him and continues to contribute toward his boarding fees.
Now, we need a home for Mugsy...please consider Mugsy... he will not disappoint. We believe it will be in Mugsy's best interest to go to a forever home that has dogs his size and children over 10 because he is a big boy and loves to romp! Mugsy Magoo maybe 5 years in age but his 'puppy' play action certainly tells us he has a lot of love and energy to give his forever family.

Mugsy desperately needs a foster family that is willing to ensure he receives a proper diet and exercise regiment in addition to the normal requirements of fostering. If you are interested in fostering Mugsy please complete a foster application.

I am considering Mugsy, I lost a boxer/pit mix last year to cancer and our 2.5 year old Neo Mastiff misses his play mate. How would Mugsy be with a younger and large dog. Also I live in Houston,TX do you have any issues with the distance. I would most likely drive to pick him up.

Mugsy's owners surrendered him and said he was good with other dogs and kids. However, while in boarding, he did get very worked up when he saw the ownner's young kids. Maybe excitement? We just don't want to take any chances.
ReplyDeleteHi--we submitted an application to adopt Apollo yet we noticed that he is in a foster home...if Mugsy has a greater need, we would love to be considered for him..let us know..thank you Jen Maldonado

ReplyDeleteMugsy is MAGNIFICENT!!! He is currently in foster care in TX. He does need an experienced owner, as he is a typical Corso and very protective of his family. We are working with him on playing ball, as he gets very excited and accidentally grabs your hand at times. He means nothing by it, but just gets so excited! I will be posting more pictures of him soon.
I am completely interested in him! I would love to have him in my home as a protector and part of my family! I am single and need a guy to love and play with my babies and have a yard and running buddy! Please let me know if he was adopted because I would love to adopt him ASAP!
