Gorgeous Gus-TX- young male - ADOPTED!!!!!

Currently being fostered in TX:

Gorgeous Gus seeks his life partner.  Tall, dark and handsome with the softest coat you’ve ever run your hands through, Gus knows looks aren’t everything.  So he wants everyone to know that he has the personality to match his good looks.  Gus has many interests and hopes to share them with his new family.  Some of his likes are: walking hand-in-leash on the beach (or anywhere!), long romantic car rides (or a quick trip to the pet store), helping cook dinner (he likes to help clean off the counters), playing in the yard with his fur and skin friends, playing with his toys or just hanging out with a bone watching TV.   Gus will always let you pick what to watch.  He doesn’t care because, you see, Gus is blind.

Most people’s reaction when they find out Gus is sight-impaired, is to say “poor guy”.   There is nothing sad about Gus.  He wants everyone to know that he’s a happy, happy boy with a heart as big as he is.  He has lots of skills, too!  Gus is crate and house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside.  Gus can sit on command and sits on his own when he hears the dog biscuit container being opened.  He is learning voice training and knows a few commands, like “find me” and “careful”.  He gets around well in the house, although, like a lot of big dogs, he’s not always graceful.  He also is an expert stuffed toy de-stuffer!

So, if you’re looking for a handsome guy with few flaws and a heart of gold who loves everyone and everything, please consider this wonderful dog.
I even have a GREAT body!

"Look" is one of my favorite commands!

  1. What a beautiful dog! The beautiful thing about dogs is, they have NO idea that having a 'disability' is a bad thing - they are who they are...and that's just fine with them!

Gus will find his forever family very soon, I'm sure (I wish it could be us, but we're full-up with dogs. The 'baby' boxer mix my hub rescued from the middle of the highway now rules the Rottweiler Roost!
